How to get from the airport to the apartment, and how long does it take?
The best option is to go by train there are 2 options however:
- CAT to Wien Mitte (16 minutes), than the S-Bahn 1 stop back to Rennweg, then 5 minutes walking
- S-Bahn takes 7 stops – roughly 25 minutes – to Rennweg, then 5 minutes walking
We suggest to take the S-Bahn
. It is fast, convenient, and cheap with € 4,20 one way.
After entering the Arrivals hall from the baggage claim area, turn left for the ÖBB to Vienna. Go down to level 1 and follow the signs.
Here you'll find the S-Bahn timetable for both directions
If you prefer you can however take a taxi
. The taxi stand is in front of the Arrivals hall. Please use the exit ont he left-hand side (see image above)
. It's roughly 35,-to 40,- EUR.
We also can arrange for a taxi transfer beforehand. It costs between 30,- to 40,- EUR. You'll be picked up right after leaving the arrival hall from a driver who holds a sheet of paper with your name printed.
Where can I buy food on Sundays and holidays?
At Wien Mitte there is an Interspar Pronto which has open 365 days a year. It's only one stop away from Rennweg. Take any train on the right track. Apart from this you'll find a shopping mall there too.
